Psalm 14<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Dixit insipiens<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1 The fool has said in his heart, “There is\u00a0no\u00a0<\/span><\/span>God.”<\/span>
\n<\/span> * All are corrupt and commit abominable acts;\u00a0there is none who does\u00a0a<\/span><\/span>-ny\u00a0good<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2 The LORD looks down from heaven upon\u00a0us\u00a0<\/span><\/span>all, *<\/span>
\n<\/span> to see if there is any who is wise,\u00a0if there is one who seeks\u00a0af<\/span><\/span>-ter\u00a0God.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3 Every one has proved faithless;\u00a0all alike have\u00a0turned\u00a0<\/span><\/span>bad; *<\/span>
\n<\/span> there is none who does good;\u00a0no<\/span>,\u00a0not\u00a0one.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4 Have they no knowledge, all those ev-il<\/span>-do-ers *<\/span>
\n<\/span> who eat up my people like bread and do not call up-on\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the\u00a0LORD?<\/span><\/span>

5 See how they tremble\u00a0with\u00a0<\/span><\/span>fear, *<\/span>
\n<\/span> because God is in the company\u00a0of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>the\u00a0right-eous.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

6 Their aim is to confound the plans of the\u00a0af<\/span>-flic-ted, *<\/span>
\n<\/span> but the LORD\u00a0is\u00a0<\/span><\/span>their\u00a0re-fuge.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

7 Oh, that Israel’s deliverance would come out\u00a0of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Zi-on! *<\/span>
\n<\/span> when the LORD restores the fortunes of her people,\u00a0Jacob will rejoice and Israel<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0be\u00a0glad.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Ho-ly\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Spir-it: *<\/span>
\n<\/span>as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for\u00a0ev<\/span>-er.\u00a0A-men.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
