1 Blessed be the LORD my rock<\/span>! *<\/span>
\n who trains my hands to fight and my fingers to<\/span> bat-tle;<\/span><\/p>\n

2 My help and my fortress,\u00a0my stronghold and my de-liv<\/span>-erer, *<\/span>
\n my shield in whom I trust,\u00a0who subdues the peo-ples<\/span> un-der me<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 O LORD, what are we that you should care<\/span> for us<\/span>? *<\/span>
\n mere mortals that you should<\/span> think of us<\/span>?<\/span><\/p>\n

4 We are like a puff of wind<\/span>; *<\/span>
\n our days are like a pas-sing<\/span> sha-dow.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n no wailing in the pub-lic<\/span> squares.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

16 Happy are the people of whom this is so<\/span>! *<\/span>
\n happy are the people whose God is the<\/span> LORD!<\/span><\/p>\n
