1 O LORD, I call to you; come to me<\/span> quick-ly; *<\/span>
\n hear my voice when I cry<\/span> to you.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 Let my prayer be set forth in your sight as<\/span> in-cense, *<\/span>
\n the lifting up of my hands as the eve<\/span>-ning sa-crifice.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 Set a watch before my mouth, O LORD,<\/span>\u00a0and guard the door of my<\/span> lips; *<\/span>
\nlet not my heart incline to any ev<\/span>-il thing.<\/span><\/p>\n

4 Let me not be occupied in wickedness with ev-il<\/span>-do-ers, *<\/span>
\n nor eat of their<\/span> choice foods.<\/span><\/p>\n

5 Let the righteous smite me in friendly rebuke;<\/span>\u00a0let not the oil of the unrighteous anoint my<\/span> head; *<\/span>

6 Let their rulers be overthrown in sto-ny<\/span> pla-ces, *<\/span>
\n that they may know my words<\/span> are true.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 As when a plowman turns over the earth in<\/span> fur-rows, *<\/span>
\n let their bones be scattered at the mouth of<\/span> the grave.<\/span><\/p>\n

8 But my eyes are turned to you, Lord<\/span> GOD; *<\/span>
\n in you I take refuge; do not strip me of<\/span> my life.<\/span><\/p>\n
