Psalm 106:1-18<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Confitemini Domino<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1 Hallelujah! Give thanks to the LORD, for she is<\/span> good, *<\/span>
\n for her mercy en-dures<\/span> for ev-er.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 Who can declare the mighty acts of the<\/span> LORD *<\/span>
\n or show forth all<\/span> her praise?<\/span><\/p>\n

3 Happy are those who act with<\/span> jus-tice *<\/span>
\n and always do what<\/span> is right!<\/span><\/p>\n

4 Remember me, O LORD,<\/span>\u00a0with the favor you have for your<\/span> peo-ple, *<\/span>
\n and visit me with your sav<\/span>-ing help;<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Chant<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

5 That I may see the prosperity of your elect<\/span>\u00a0and be glad with the gladness of your<\/span> peo-ple, *<\/span>
\n that I may glory with your<\/span> in-her-itance.<\/span><\/p>\n

6 We have sinned as our<\/span> fore-bears did<\/span>; *<\/span>
\n we have done wrong and<\/span> dealt wic-kedly.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 In Egypt they did not consider your marvelous works,<\/span>\u00a0nor remember the abundance of your<\/span> love; *<\/span>
\n they defied the Most High at<\/span> the<\/span>\u00a0Red Sea.<\/span><\/p>\n

8 But she saved them for her<\/span>\u00a0Name’s sake, *<\/span>
\n to make her\u00a0pow<\/span>-er known.<\/span><\/p>\n

9 She rebuked the Red Sea, and it<\/span> dried up<\/u>, *<\/span>
\n and she led them through the deep as through<\/span> a de-sert.<\/span><\/p>\n

10 She saved them from the hand of those who<\/span> ha-ted them<\/span>\u00a0*<\/span>
\n and redeemed them from the hand of<\/span> the e-nemy.<\/span><\/p>\n

11 The waters covered their op<\/span>-pres-sors; *<\/span>
\n not one of them<\/span> was left.<\/span><\/p>\n

12 Then they believed her<\/span>\u00a0words *<\/span>
\n and sang her\u00a0songs<\/span> of praise.<\/span><\/p>\n

13 But they soon forgot her<\/span>\u00a0deeds *<\/span>
\n and did not wait for<\/span> her coun-sel.<\/span><\/p>\n

14 A craving seized them in the<\/span> wil-derness, *<\/span>
\n and they put God to the test in<\/span> the de-sert.<\/span><\/p>\n

15 She gave them what they<\/span> asked, *<\/span>
\n but sent leanness in-to<\/span> their soul.<\/span><\/p>\n

16 They envied Moses in the<\/span> camp, *<\/span>
\n and Aaron, the holy one of<\/span> the LORD.<\/span><\/p>\n

17 The earth opened and swal-lowed<\/span> Da-than *<\/span>
\n and covered the company of<\/span> A-bi-ram.<\/span><\/p>\n

18 Fire blazed up against their<\/span> com-pany, *<\/span>
\n and flames de-voured<\/span> the wic-ked.<\/span><\/p>\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Ho-ly<\/span> Spir-it: *<\/span>
