Psalm 33<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Exultate, justi<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1 Rejoice in the LORD, you<\/span> right-eous; *<\/span>
\n it is good for the just to sing<\/span> prai-ses.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 Praise the LORD with the<\/span> harp; *<\/span>
\n play to her upon the psaltery and<\/span> lyre.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 Sing for her\u00a0a<\/span> new song; *<\/span>
\n sound a fanfare with all your skill upon the<\/span> trum-pet.<\/span><\/p>\n

4 For the word of the LORD is<\/span> right, *<\/span>
\n and all her works are<\/span> sure.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Chant<\/span><\/p>\n

5 She loves righteousness and<\/span> jus-tice; *<\/span>
\n the loving-kindness of the LORD fills the whole<\/u><\/span> earth<\/span>.<\/p>\n

6 By the word of the LORD were the hea-vens<\/span> made,<\/span> *<\/span>
\n by the breath of her mouth all the heaven-ly<\/span> hosts.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 She gathers up the waters of the ocean as in a<\/span> wa-terskin *<\/span>
\n and stores up the depths of the<\/span> sea.<\/span><\/p>\n

8 Let all the earth fear the<\/span> LORD; *<\/span>
\n let all who dwell in the world stand in awe of<\/span> her.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Chant<\/span><\/p>\n

9 For she spoke, and it came to<\/span> pass; *<\/span>
\nshe commanded, and it stood<\/span> fast.<\/span><\/p>\n

10 The LORD brings the will of the nations to<\/span> naught; *<\/span>
\nshe thwarts the designs of the<\/span> peo-ples.<\/span><\/p>\n

11 But the LORD’S will stands fast for<\/span> e-ver, *<\/span>
\n and the designs of her heart from age to<\/span> age.<\/span><\/p>\n

12 Happy is the nation whose God is the<\/span> LORD! *<\/span>
\n happy the people she has chosen to be her<\/span>\u00a0own!<\/span><\/p>\n

13 The LORD looks down from<\/span> hea-ven, *<\/span>
\n and beholds all the people in the<\/span> world.<\/span><\/p>\n

14 From where she sits enthroned she turns her<\/span>\u00a0gaze *<\/span>
\n on all who dwell on the<\/span> earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

15 She fashions all the<\/span> hearts of them<\/span> *<\/span>
\n and understands all their<\/span> works.<\/span><\/p>\n

16 There is no king that can be saved by a migh-ty<\/span> ar-my; *<\/span>
\n a strong woman is not delivered by her\u00a0great<\/span> strength.<\/span><\/p>\n

17 The horse is a vain hope for de<\/span>-li-verance; *<\/span>
\n for all its strength it can-not<\/span> save.<\/span><\/p>\n

18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon those who<\/span> fear her, *<\/span>
\n on those who wait upon her<\/span>\u00a0love,<\/span><\/p>\n

19 To pluck their lives from<\/span> death, *<\/span>
\n and to feed them in time of<\/span> fa-mine.<\/span><\/p>\n

20 Our soul waits for the<\/span> LORD; *<\/span>
\nshe is our help and our<\/span> shield.<\/span><\/p>\n

21 Indeed, our heart rejoices in<\/span> her, *<\/span>
\n for in her holy Name we put our<\/span> trust.<\/span><\/p>\n

22 Let your loving-kindness, O LORD, be up<\/span>-on us, *<\/span>
\n as we have put our trust in<\/span> you.<\/span><\/p>\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Ho-ly<\/span> Spir-it: *<\/span>
