Psalm 107:33-43\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Posuit flumina<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

33 The LORD changed rivers in-to<\/span> de-serts, *<\/span>
\n and water-springs into thirs-ty<\/span> ground,<\/span><\/p>\n

34 A fruitful land in-to<\/span> salt flats, *<\/span>
\n because of the wickedness of those who<\/span> dwell there.<\/span><\/p>\n

35 She changed deserts into pools of<\/span> wa-ter *<\/span>
\n and dry land in-to<\/span> wa-ter-springs<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

36 She settled the<\/span> hun-gry there<\/span>, *<\/span>
\n and they founded a city to<\/span> dwell in.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Chant<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

37 They sowed fields, and plan-ted<\/span> vine-yards, *<\/span>
\n and brought in a fruit-ful<\/span> har-vest.<\/span><\/p>\n

38 She blessed them, so that they in-creased<\/span> great-ly; *<\/span>
\nshe did not let their herds de<\/span>-crease.<\/span><\/p>\n

39 Yet when they were diminished and brought<\/span> low, *<\/span>
\n through stress of adversity and<\/span> sor-row,<\/span><\/p>\n

40 (She pours contempt on<\/span> prin-ces *<\/span>
\n and makes them wander in track-less<\/span> wastes)<\/span><\/p>\n

41 She lifted up the poor out of<\/span> mi-sery *<\/span>
\n and multiplied their families like flocks of<\/span> sheep.<\/span><\/p>\n

42 The upright will see this and re<\/span>-joice, *<\/span>
\n but all wickedness will shut its<\/span> mouth.<\/span><\/p>\n

43 Whoever is wise will ponder these<\/span> things, *<\/span>
\n and consider well the mercies of the<\/span> LORD.<\/span><\/p>\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Ho-ly<\/span> Spir-it: *<\/span>
\nas it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. A<\/span>-men.<\/span>
