Psalm\u00a0105:23-45<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Et intravit Israel<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

23 Israel came in-to<\/span>\u00a0E-gypt, *<\/span>
\n and Jacob became a sojourner in the\u00a0land\u00a0of<\/span> Ham.<\/span><\/p>\n

24 The LORD made her people exceeding-ly<\/span>\u00a0fruit-ful; *<\/span>
\nshe made them stronger than their<\/span>\u00a0e-nemies;<\/span><\/p>\n

25 Whose heart she turned, so that they hated her<\/span>\u00a0peo-ple, *
\nand dealt unjustly with her<\/span>\u00a0ser-vants.<\/span><\/p>\n

26 She sent Moses her<\/span>\u00a0ser-vant, *<\/span>
\n and Aaron whom she\u00a0had<\/span> cho-sen.<\/span><\/p>\n

27 They worked her signs a<\/span>-mong\u00a0them, *<\/span>
\n and portents in the\u00a0land\u00a0of<\/span> Ham.<\/span><\/p>\n

28 She sent darkness, and it grew<\/span>\u00a0dark; *<\/span>
\n but the Egyptians rebelled against\u00a0her<\/span>\u00a0words.<\/span><\/p>\n

29 She turned their waters in-to<\/span>\u00a0blood\u00a0*<\/span>
\n and caused their\u00a0fish\u00a0to<\/span> die.<\/span><\/p>\n

30 Their land was overrun by<\/span>\u00a0frogs, *<\/span>
\n in the very chambers\u00a0of\u00a0their<\/span> kings.<\/span><\/p>\n

31 She spoke, and there came swarms of<\/span>\u00a0in-sects\u00a0*<\/span>
\n and gnats within\u00a0all\u00a0their<\/span> bor-ders.<\/span><\/p>\n

32 She gave them hailstones instead of<\/span>\u00a0rain, *<\/span>
\n and flames of fire throughout\u00a0their<\/span> land.<\/span><\/p>\n

33 She blasted their vines and their<\/span>\u00a0fig\u00a0trees *<\/span>
\n and shattered every tree\u00a0in\u00a0their<\/span> coun-try.<\/span><\/p>\n

34 She spoke, and the lo-cust<\/span>\u00a0came, *<\/span>
\n and young locusts\u00a0with-out<\/span> num-ber,<\/span><\/p>\n

35 Which ate up all the green plants in their<\/span>\u00a0land\u00a0*<\/span>
\n and devoured the fruit\u00a0of\u00a0their<\/span> soil.<\/span><\/p>\n

36 She struck down the firstborn of their<\/span>\u00a0land, *<\/span>
\n the firstfruits of\u00a0all\u00a0their<\/span> strength.<\/span><\/p>\n

37 She led out her people with silver and<\/span>\u00a0gold; *<\/span>
\n in all their tribes there was not\u00a0one\u00a0that<\/span> stum-bled.<\/span><\/p>\n

38 Egypt was glad of their<\/span>\u00a0go-ing, *<\/span>
\n because they were afraid\u00a0of<\/span> them.<\/span><\/p>\n

39 She spread out a cloud for a<\/span>\u00a0co-vering\u00a0*<\/span>
\n and a fire to give light in\u00a0the\u00a0night<\/u><\/span> sea-son.<\/span><\/p>\n

40 They asked, and quails ap<\/span>-peared, *<\/span>
\n and she satisfied them with\u00a0bread\u00a0from<\/span> hea<\/span>-ven.<\/span><\/p>\n

41 She opened the rock, and wa-ter<\/span>\u00a0flowed, *<\/span>
\n so the river ran in\u00a0the\u00a0dry<\/u><\/span> pla-ces.<\/span><\/p>\n

42 For God remembered her ho-ly<\/span>\u00a0word\u00a0*<\/span>
\n and\u00a0Abraham\u00a0her<\/span>\u00a0ser-vant.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Chant<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

43 So she led forth her people with<\/span>\u00a0glad-ness, *<\/span>
\n her chosen with\u00a0shouts\u00a0of<\/span> joy.<\/span><\/p>\n

44 She gave her people the lands of the<\/span>\u00a0na-tions, *<\/span>
\n and they took the fruit\u00a0of\u00a0o-thers’<\/span>\u00a0toil,<\/span><\/p>\n

45 That they might keep her<\/span>\u00a0sta-tutes\u00a0*<\/span>
\n and observe her laws.\u00a0Hal-le<\/span>-lu-jah!<\/span><\/p>\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Ho<\/span>–ly<\/span>\u00a0Spir-it: *<\/span>
\nas it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for\u00a0ever. A<\/span>-men.<\/span><\/p>\n
