Psalm 46<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Deus noster refugium<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1 God is our re-fuge<\/span> and strength, *<\/span>
\n a very present help<\/span> in trou-ble.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 Therefore we will not fear,<\/span>\u00a0though the earth<\/span> be moved, *<\/span>
\n and though the mountains be toppled<\/span>\u00a0into the depths of<\/span> the sea;<\/span><\/p>\n

3 Though its waters rage<\/span> and foam, *<\/span>
\n and though the mountains tremble at<\/span> its tu-mult.<\/span><\/p>\n

4 The LORD of hosts<\/span> is with us; *<\/span>
\n the God of Jacob is<\/span> our strong-hold.<\/span><\/p>\n

5 There is a river whose streams make glad the ci-ty<\/span> of God, *<\/span>
\n the holy habitation of the<\/span> Most High.<\/span><\/p>\n

6 God is in the midst of her;<\/span>\u00a0she shall not be o<\/span>-ver-thrown; *<\/span>
\n God shall help her at the break<\/span> of day.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 The nations make much ado,<\/span>\u00a0and the king-doms<\/span> are sha-ken; *<\/span>
\n God has spoken, and the earth shall melt<\/span> a-way.<\/span><\/p>\n

8 The LORD of hosts<\/span> is with us; *<\/span>
\n the God of Jacob is<\/span> our strong-hold.<\/span><\/p>\n

9 Come now and look upon the works of<\/span> the LORD, *<\/span>
\n what awesome things she has done<\/span> on earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

10 It is she who makes war to cease in all<\/span> the world; *<\/span>
\nshe breaks the bow, and shatters the spear,<\/span>\u00a0and burns the shields<\/span> with fire.<\/span><\/p>\n

11 “Be still, then, and know that \u00a0I\u00a0<\/span> am God; *<\/span>
\n I will be exalted among the nations;<\/span>\u00a0I will be exalted in<\/span> the earth.”<\/span><\/p>\n

12 The LORD of hosts<\/span> is with us; *<\/span>
