Psalm 90\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Domine, refugium<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1 Lord, you have been our<\/span> re-fuge *<\/span>
\n from one generation to an<\/span>-o-ther.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 Before the mountains were brought forth,<\/span>\u00a0or the land and the earth were<\/span> born, *<\/span>
\n from age to age you are<\/span> God.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 You turn us back to the dust and<\/span> say, *<\/span>
\n “Go back, O child of<\/span> earth.”<\/span><\/p>\n

4 For a thousand years in your sight<\/span>\u00a0are like yesterday when it is<\/span> past *<\/span>
\n and like a watch in the<\/span> night.<\/span><\/p>\n

5 You sweep us away like a<\/span> dream; *<\/span>
\n we fade away suddenly like the<\/span> grass.<\/span><\/p>\n

6 In the morning it is green and<\/span> flour-ishes; *<\/span>
\n in the evening it is dried up and<\/span> with-ered.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 For we consume away in your dis<\/span>-plea-sure; *<\/span>
\n we are afraid because of your wrathful in-dig<\/span>-na-tion.<\/span><\/p>\n

8 Our iniquities you have set be<\/span>-fore you, *<\/span>
\n and our secret sins in the light of your<\/span> coun-tenance.<\/span><\/p>\n

9 When you are angry, all our days are<\/span> gone; *<\/span>
\n we bring our years to an end like a<\/span> sigh.<\/span><\/p>\n

10 The span of our life is seventy years,<\/span>\u00a0perhaps in strength e-ven<\/span> eigh-ty; *<\/span>
\n yet the sum of them is but labor and sorrow,<\/span>\u00a0for they pass away quickly and we are<\/span> gone.<\/span><\/p>\n

11 Who regards the power of your<\/span> wrath? *<\/span>
\n who rightly fears your in-dig<\/span>-na-tion?<\/span><\/p>\n

12 So teach us to number our<\/span> days *<\/span>
\n that we may apply our hearts to<\/span> wis-dom.<\/span><\/p>\n

13 Return, O LORD; how long will you<\/span> tar-ry? *<\/span>
\n be gracious to your<\/span>\u00a0ser-vants.<\/span><\/p>\n

14 Satisfy us by your loving-kindness in the<\/span> morn-ing; *<\/span>
\n so shall we rejoice and be glad all the days of our<\/span> life.<\/span><\/p>\n

15 Make us glad by the measure of the days that you af<\/span>-flic-ted us\u00a0<\/span>*<\/span>
\n and the years in which we suffered ad<\/span>-ver-sity.<\/span><\/p>\n

16 Show your servants your<\/span> works *<\/span>
\n and your splendor to their<\/span>\u00a0chil-dren.<\/span><\/p>\n

17 May the graciousness of the LORD our God be up<\/span>-on us; *<\/span>
\n prosper the work of our hands; prosper our<\/span> han-diwork.<\/span><\/p>\n
