Psalm 97<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Dominus regnavit<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1 The LORD is King; let the earth\u00a0re<\/span>-joice; *<\/span>
\n let the multitude of the isles\u00a0be<\/span>\u00a0glad.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 Clouds and darkness are round\u00a0a<\/span>-bout her, *<\/span>
\n righteousness and justice are the foundations of\u00a0her<\/span>\u00a0throne.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 A fire goes\u00a0be<\/span>-fore her *<\/span>
\n and burns up her enemies on e-very<\/span>\u00a0side.<\/span><\/p>\n

4 Her lightnings light up\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0world; *<\/span>
\n the earth sees it and is\u00a0a<\/span>-fraid.<\/span><\/p>\n

5 The mountains melt like wax at the presence of\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0LORD, *<\/span>
\n at the presence of the Lord of the\u00a0whole<\/u><\/span>\u00a0earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

6 The heavens declare\u00a0her<\/span>\u00a0right-eousness, *<\/span>
\n and all the peoples see\u00a0her<\/span>\u00a0glo-ry.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 Confounded be all who worship carved images and delight in\u00a0false<\/span>\u00a0gods! *<\/span>
\n Bow down before her, all\u00a0you<\/span>\u00a0gods.<\/span><\/p>\n

8 Zion hears and is glad, and the cities of Judah\u00a0re<\/span>-joice, *<\/span>
\n because of your judgments,\u00a0O<\/span>\u00a0LORD.<\/span><\/p>\n

9 For you are the LORD, most high over all\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0earth; *<\/span>

\nshe preserves the lives of her saints and delivers them from the hand of\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0wic-ked.<\/span><\/p>\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Ho-ly<\/span>\u00a0Spir-it: *<\/span>
