Psalm 66<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Jubilate Deo<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1 Be joyful in God, all<\/span> you lands; *
\nsing the glory of her Name;<\/span>\u00a0sing the glory of<\/span> her praise.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 Say to God, “How awesome are<\/span> your deeds! *<\/span>
\n because of your great strength your enemies cringe<\/span> be-fore you.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 All the earth bows down<\/span> be-fore you, *<\/span>
\n sings to you, sings out<\/span> your Name.”<\/span><\/p>\n

4 Come now and see the works<\/span> of God, *<\/span>
\n how wonderful she is in her doing toward<\/span> all peo-ple.<\/span><\/p>\n

5 She turned the sea into dry land,\u00a0so that they went through the wa-ter<\/span> on foot, *<\/span>
\n and there we re-joiced<\/span> in her.<\/span><\/p>\n

6 In her might she rules for ever;\u00a0her eyes keep watch o-ver<\/span> the na-tions; *<\/span>
\n let no rebel rise up<\/span> a-gainst her.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 Bless our God<\/span>, you peo-ples; *<\/span>
\n make the voice of her praise to<\/span> be heard;<\/span><\/p>\n

8 Who holds our souls<\/span> in life, *<\/span>
\n and will not allow our feet<\/span> to slip.<\/span><\/p>\n

9 For you, O God<\/span>, have proved us; *<\/span>
\n you have tried us just as sil-ver<\/span> is tried.<\/span><\/p>\n

10 You brought us in-to<\/span> the snare; *<\/span>
\n you laid heavy burdens up-on<\/span> our backs.<\/span><\/p>\n

11 You let enemies ride over our heads;\u00a0we went through fire<\/span> and wa-ter; *<\/span>
\n but you brought us out into a place of<\/span> re-fresh-ment.<\/span><\/p>\n

12 I will enter your house with burnt-offerings<\/span>\u00a0and will pay you<\/span> my vows, *<\/span>
\n which I promised with my lips\u00a0and spoke with my mouth when I was<\/span> in trou-ble.<\/span><\/p>\n

13 I will offer you sacrifices of fat beasts with the smoke<\/span> of rams; *<\/span>
\n I will give you ox-en<\/span> and goats.<\/span><\/p>\n

14 Come and listen, all you who<\/span> fear God, *<\/span>
\n and I will tell you what she has done<\/span>\u00a0for me.<\/span><\/p>\n

15 I called out to her\u00a0with<\/span> my mouth, *<\/span>
\n and her praise was on<\/span> my tongue.<\/span><\/p>\n

16 If I had found evil in<\/span> my heart, *<\/span>
\n the Lord would not<\/span> have\u00a0heard me;<\/span><\/p>\n

17 But in truth God<\/span> has\u00a0heard me; *<\/span>
\nshe has attended to the voice of<\/span> my prayer.<\/span><\/p>\n

18 Blessed be God,\u00a0who has not rejec-ted<\/span> my prayer, *<\/span>
\n nor with-held<\/span> her love from me<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Ho<\/span>-ly Spir-it: *<\/span>
