Psalm 85<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Benedixisti, Domine<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1 You have been gracious to your land, O LORD<\/span>, *<\/span>
\n you have restored the good for-tune<\/span> of Ja-cob.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 You have forgiven the iniquity of your peo<\/span>-ple *<\/span>
\n and blotted out all<\/span> their sins.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 You have withdrawn all your fur<\/span>-y *<\/span>
\n and turned yourself from your wrathful in<\/span>-dig-na-tion.<\/span><\/p>\n

4 Restore us then, O God our Sa<\/span>-vior; *<\/span>
\n let your anger de-part<\/span> from us.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Chant<\/span><\/p>\n

5 Will you be displeased with us for ev<\/span>-er? *<\/span>
\n will you prolong your anger from age<\/span> to age?<\/span><\/p>\n

6 Will you not give us life<\/span> again<\/span>, *<\/span>
\n that your people may<\/span> re-joice in you<\/span>?<\/span><\/p>\n

7 Show us your mercy, O LORD<\/span>, *<\/span>
\n and grant us your<\/span> sal-va-tion.<\/span><\/p>\n

8 I will listen to what the LORD God is say<\/span>-ing, *<\/span>
\n for she is speaking peace to her faithful people<\/span>\u00a0and to those who turn<\/span> their hearts to her<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

9 Truly, her salvation is very near to those who fear<\/span> her, *<\/span>
\n that her glory may dwell in<\/span> our land.<\/span><\/p>\n

10 Mercy and truth have met to-ge<\/span>-ther; *<\/span>
\n righteousness and peace have kissed<\/span> each o-ther.<\/span><\/p>\n

11 Truth shall spring up from the earth<\/span>, *<\/span>
\n and righteousness shall look down<\/span> from hea-ven.<\/span><\/p>\n

12 The LORD will indeed grant pros-per<\/span>-ity, *<\/span>
\n and our land will yield<\/span> its in-crease.<\/span><\/p>\n

13 Righteousness shall go be-fore<\/span> her, *<\/span>
\n and peace shall be a pathway for<\/span> her feet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spir<\/span>-it: *<\/span>
