Psalm 45<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Eructavit cor meum<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1 My heart is stirring with a noble song;<\/span>\u00a0let me recite what I have fashioned for the<\/span> king; *<\/span>
\n my tongue shall be the pen of a<\/u><\/span> skilled wri-ter.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 You are the fairest of<\/span> men; *<\/span>
\n grace flows from your lips,<\/span>\u00a0in your pride and in<\/span> your ma-jesty.<\/span><\/p>\n

4 Ride out and conquer in the cause of<\/span> truth\u00a0*<\/span>
\n and for the sake<\/span> of jus-tice.<\/span><\/p>\n

5 Your right hand will show you mar-velous<\/span> things; *<\/span>
\n your arrows are very sharp, O migh<\/span>-ty war-rior.<\/span><\/p>\n

6 The peoples are falling at your<\/span> feet, *<\/span>
\n and the king’s enemies are los<\/span>-ing heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 Your throne, O God, endures for ever and<\/span> ev-er, *<\/span>
\n a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom;<\/span>\u00a0you love righteousness and hate<\/span> in-i-quity.<\/span><\/p>\n

8 Therefore God, your God, has a<\/span>-noin-ted you<\/span> *<\/span>
\n with the oil of gladness a-bove<\/span> your fel-lows.<\/span><\/p>\n

9 All your garments are fragrant with myrrh, aloes, and<\/span> cas-sia, *<\/span>
\n and the music of strings from ivory palaces makes<\/span> you glad.<\/span><\/p>\n

10 Kings’ daughters stand among the ladies of the<\/span> court; *<\/span>
\n on your right hand is the queen, adorned with the gold<\/span> of O-phir.<\/span><\/p>\n

11 “Hear, O daughter; consider and listen<\/span> close-ly; *<\/span>
\n forget your people and your fa<\/span>-ther’s house.<\/span><\/p>\n

12 The king will have pleasure in your<\/span> beau-ty; *<\/span>
\n he is your master;<\/span>\u00a0therefore do<\/span> him hon-or.<\/span><\/p>\n

13 The people of Tyre are here with a<\/span> gift; *<\/span>
\n the rich among the people seek<\/span> your fa-vor.”<\/span><\/p>\n

14 All glorious is the princess as she<\/span> en-ters; *<\/span>
\n her gown is cloth<\/span>-of-gold.<\/span><\/p>\n

15 In embroidered apparel she is brought to the<\/span> king; *<\/span>
\n after her the bridesmaids follow in<\/span> pro-ces-sion.<\/span><\/p>\n

16 With joy and gladness they are<\/span> brought, *<\/span>
\n and enter into the palace of<\/span> the king.<\/span>
\n \"Chant<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

17 “In place of fathers, O king, you shall have<\/span> sons; *<\/span>
\n you shall make them princes over all<\/span> the earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

18 I will make your name to be remembered from one generation to a<\/span>-no-ther; *<\/span>
\n therefore nations will praise you for ev-er<\/span> and ev-er.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Ho-ly<\/span> Spir-it: *<\/span>
