Psalm 146<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Lauda, anima mea<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1 Hallelujah! Praise the LORD, O<\/span> my soul<\/span>! *<\/span>
\n I will praise the LORD as long as I live;<\/span>\u00a0I will sing praises to my God while I have<\/span> my be-ing.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 Put not your trust in rulers, nor in any child of<\/span> earth, *<\/span>
\n for there is<\/span> no help in them.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3 When they breathe their last, they return to<\/span> earth, *<\/span>
\n and in that day their<\/span> thoughts per-ish.<\/span><\/p>\n

4 Happy are they who have the God of Jacob for their<\/span> help! *<\/span>
\n whose hope is in the LORD<\/span> their God;<\/span><\/p>\n

5 Who made heaven and earth, the seas, and all that is<\/span> in them; *<\/span>

\n and food to those<\/span> who hun-ger.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 The LORD sets the prisoners free;<\/span>\u00a0the LORD opens the eyes of the<\/span> blind; *<\/span>
\n the LORD lifts up those who are<\/span>\u00a0bowed down;<\/span><\/p>\n

8 The LORD loves the righteous;<\/span>\u00a0the LORD cares for the<\/span> stran-ger; *<\/span>
\nshe sustains the orphan and widow,<\/span>\u00a0but frustrates the way of<\/span> the wic-ked.<\/span><\/p>\n

9 The LORD shall reign for<\/span> ev-er, *<\/span>
\n your God, O Zion, throughout all generations.<\/span>\u00a0Hal<\/span>-le-lu-jah!<\/span><\/p>\n
