1 Do not fret yourself because of evil-do<\/span>-ers; *
\ndo not be jealous of those who do<\/u><\/span> wrong.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 For they shall soon wither like the grass<\/span>, *
\nand like the green grass fade a<\/span>-way.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 Put your trust in the LORD and do good<\/span>; *
\ndwell in the land and feed on its<\/span> ri-ches.<\/span><\/p>\n

4 Take delight in the LORD<\/span>, *
\nand she shall give you your heart\u2019s de<\/span>-sire.<\/span><\/p>\n

5 Commit your way to the LORD and put your trust in her<\/span>, *
\nand she will bring it to<\/span> pass.<\/span><\/p>\n

6 She will make your righteousness as clear as the light<\/span> *
\nand your just dealing as the<\/span> noon-day.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 Be still before the LORD<\/span> *
\nand wait patiently for<\/span> her.<\/span><\/p>\n

8 Do not fret yourself over the one who pro<\/span>-spers, *
\nthe one who succeeds in e-vil<\/span> schemes.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Chant<\/a><\/p>\n

9 Refrain from anger, leave rage a-lone<\/span>; *
\ndo not fret yourself; it leads only to<\/span> e-vil.<\/span><\/p>\n

10 For evildoers shall be cut off<\/span>, *
\nbut those who wait upon the LORD shall possess the<\/span> land.<\/span><\/p>\n

11 In a little while the wicked shall be no more<\/span>; *
\nyou shall search out their place, but they will not be<\/span> there.<\/span><\/p>\n

12 But the lowly shall possess the land<\/span>; *
\nthey will delight in abundance of<\/span> peace.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Chant<\/p>\n

13 The wicked plot against the righ<\/span>-teous *
\n<\/span>and gnash at them with their<\/span> teeth.<\/span><\/p>\n

14 The LORD laughs at the wick<\/span>-ed, *
\nbecause she sees that their day will<\/span> come.<\/span><\/p>\n

15 The wicked draw their sword and bend their bow\u00a0to strike down the poor and need<\/span>-y, *
\nto slaughter those who are upright in their<\/span> ways.<\/span><\/p>\n

16 Their sword shall go through their own heart<\/span>, *
\nand their bow shall be<\/span> bro-ken.<\/span><\/p>\n

17 The little that the righteous has<\/span> *
\nis better than great riches of the<\/span> wick-ed.<\/span><\/p>\n

18 For the power of the wicked shall be bro<\/span>-ken, *
\nbut the LORD upholds the<\/span> righ-teous.<\/span><\/p>\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy\u00a0Spir<\/span>-it: *<\/span>
