Psalm 65<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Te decet hymnus<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1 You are to be praised, O God, in Zi<\/span>-on; *<\/span>
\n to you shall vows be performed in<\/span> Je-ru-salem.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 To you that hear prayer shall all\u00a0flesh come<\/span>, *<\/span>
\nbecause of\u00a0their<\/span> trans-gress-sions.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 Our sins are stronger than we<\/span> are, *<\/span>
\n but you will blot<\/span> them out.<\/span><\/p>\n

4 Happy are they whom you choose<\/span>\u00a0and draw to your courts to dwell<\/span> there! *<\/span>
\n they will be satisfied by the beauty of your house,<\/span>\u00a0by the holiness of<\/span> your tem-ple.<\/span><\/p>\n

5 Awesome things will you show us in your righteousness,<\/span>\u00a0O God of our sal-va<\/span>-tion,*<\/span>
\n O Hope of all the ends of the earth<\/span>\u00a0and of the seas that are far<\/span> a-way.<\/span><\/p>\n

6 You make fast the mountains by your pow<\/span>-er; *<\/span>
\n they are girded a-bout<\/span> with might.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 You still the roaring of the seas<\/span>, *<\/span>
\n the roaring of their waves,<\/span>\u00a0and the clamor of<\/span> the peo-ples.<\/span><\/p>\n

8 Those who dwell at the ends of the earth<\/span>\u00a0will tremble at your marvelous signs<\/span>; *<\/span>
\n you make the dawn and the dusk to sing<\/span> for joy.<\/span><\/p>\n

9 You visit the earth and water it abundantly;<\/span>\u00a0you make it very plen<\/span>-teous; *<\/span>
\n the river of God is full<\/span> of wa-ter.<\/span><\/p>\n

10 You prepare the grain<\/span>, *<\/span>
\n for so you provide for<\/span> the earth.<\/span><\/p>\n

11 You drench the furrows\u00a0and smooth out the ri<\/span>-dges; *<\/span>
\n with heavy rain you soften the ground\u00a0and bless<\/span> its in-crease.<\/span><\/p>\n

12 You crown the year with your good<\/span>-ness, *<\/span>
\n and your paths over-flow<\/span> with plen-ty.<\/span><\/p>\n

13 May the fields of the wilderness be rich for gra<\/span>-zing, *<\/span>
\n and the hills be clothed<\/span> with joy.<\/span><\/p>\n

14 May the meadows cover themselves with flocks,<\/span>\u00a0and the valleys cloak themselves with grain<\/span>; *<\/span>
\n let them shout for joy<\/span> and sing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spir<\/span>-it: *<\/span>
