Psalm 7<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Domine, Deus meus<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1 O LORD my God, I take\u00a0re<\/span>-fuge\u00a0in you<\/span>; *<\/span>
\n save and deliver me from all\u00a0who<\/span>\u00a0pur-sue me ;<\/span><\/p>\n

2 Lest like a lion they tear me\u00a0in<\/span>\u00a0pie-ces *<\/span>
\n and snatch me away with none\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0de-li-ver me<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 O LORD my God, if I have\u00a0done<\/span>\u00a0these\u00a0things: *<\/span>
\n if there is any wickedness\u00a0in<\/span>\u00a0my hands\u00a0,<\/span><\/p>\n

4 If I have repaid my friend\u00a0with<\/span>\u00a0ev-il, *<\/span>
\n or plundered her who without cause<\/span>\u00a0is\u00a0my<\/u> en-emy;<\/span><\/p>\n

5 Then let my enemy pursue and o-ver<\/span>-take\u00a0me, *<\/span>
\n trample my life into the ground,\u00a0and lay my honor\u00a0in<\/span>\u00a0the dust\u00a0.<\/span><\/p>\n

6 Stand up, O LORD, in\u00a0your<\/span>\u00a0wrath; *<\/span>
\n rise up against the fury\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0my en-emies.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 Awake, O my God, de-cree<\/span>\u00a0jus-tice; *<\/span>
\n let the assembly of the peoples\u00a0ga<\/span>-ther\u00a0round you.<\/span><\/p>\n

8 Be seated on your lofty throne,\u00a0O\u00a0Most<\/span><\/span>\u00a0High; *<\/span>
\n O LORD, \u00a0judge<\/span>\u00a0the na-tions.<\/span><\/p>\n

9 Give judgment for me according to my righteous-ness<\/span>,\u00a0O<\/span>\u00a0LORD, *<\/span>
\n and according to my innocence,\u00a0O<\/span>\u00a0Most High.<\/span><\/p>\n

10 Let the malice of the wicked come to an end,\u00a0but establish\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0right-eous; *<\/span>
\n for you test the mind and\u00a0heart<\/span>, O right-eous God<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

11 God is my shield and\u00a0de<\/span>-fense; *<\/span>
\n she is the savior\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0the true\u00a0in hear<\/span>t<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

12 God is\u00a0a\u00a0right-eous<\/span> judge; *<\/span>
\n God sits in judgment\u00a0ev<\/span>-ery day.<\/span><\/p>\n

13 If they will not repent, God will whet\u00a0her<\/span>\u00a0sword; *<\/span>
\n she will bend her bow and\u00a0make<\/span>\u00a0it rea-dy.<\/span><\/p>\n

14 She has prepared her weapons\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0death; *<\/span>
\n she makes her arrows\u00a0shafts<\/span>\u00a0of fire.<\/span><\/p>\n

15 Look at those who are in labor\u00a0with<\/span>\u00a0wic-kedness, *<\/span>
\n who conceive evil, and give birth\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0a lie\u00a0<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

16 They dig a pit and make\u00a0it<\/span>\u00a0deep\u00a0*<\/span>
\n and fall into the\u00a0hole<\/span>\u00a0that they\u00a0have made<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

17 Their malice turns back upon\u00a0their<\/span>\u00a0own<\/span><\/span>\u00a0head; *<\/span>
\n their violence falls\u00a0on<\/span>\u00a0their own scalp.<\/span><\/p>\n

18 I will bear witness that the LORD is<\/span>\u00a0right-eous; *<\/span>
\n I will praise the Name\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0the LORD\u00a0Most High.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Ho-ly<\/span>\u00a0Spir-it: *<\/span>
