Psalm 16<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Conserva me, Domine<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

1 Protect me, O God, for I take re-fuge<\/span> in you; *<\/span>
\n I have said to the LORD,\u00a0“You are my Lord, my good a-bove<\/span> all o-ther.”<\/span><\/p>\n

2 All my delight is upon the godly that are in<\/span> the land, *<\/span>
\n upon those who are noble a-mong<\/span> the peo-ple.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 But those who run after o<\/span>-ther gods\u00a0*<\/span>
\n shall have their trou<\/span>-bles multi-plied.<\/span><\/p>\n

4 Their libations of blood I will<\/span> not of-fer, *<\/span>
\n nor take the names of their gods up-on<\/span> my lips.<\/span><\/p>\n

5 O LORD, you are my portion and<\/span> my cup; *<\/span>
\n it is you who up-hold<\/span> my lot.<\/span><\/p>\n

6 My boundaries enclose a plea<\/span>-sant land; *<\/span>
\n indeed, I have a good<\/span>-ly heri-tage.<\/span><\/p>\n

7 I will bless the LORD who gives<\/span> me coun-sel; *<\/span>
\n my heart teaches me, night af<\/span>-ter night.<\/span><\/p>\n

8 I have set the LORD al-ways<\/span> be-fore me; *<\/span>
\n because he is at my right hand I shall<\/span> not fall.<\/span><\/p>\n

9 My heart, therefore, is glad, and my spirit<\/span> re-joi-ces; *<\/span>
\n my body also shall rest<\/span> in hope.<\/span><\/p>\n

10 For you will not abandon me to<\/span> the grave, *<\/span>
\n nor let your holy one see<\/span> the Pit.<\/span><\/p>\n

11 You will show me the path<\/span> of life; *<\/span>
\n in your presence there is fullness of joy,\u00a0and in your right hand are pleasures for ev<\/span>-er-more.<\/span><\/p>\n

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Ho-ly<\/span><\/span> Spir-it: *<\/span>
\n as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ev-<\/span>er. A-men.<\/span><\/p>\n
